At Western Chic Shop, we want you to be as happy with your purchase as a cowboy with a brand-new pair of boots. If something ain’t quite right, we’ll make it right faster than you can say “yeehaw!” Here’s our straightforward returns and exchanges policy.

1. The Basics

We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of you receiving your order. All items must be:

  • Unworn and in original condition (tags still attached)
  • In the original packaging
  • Accompanied by your order number

Non-Returnable Items:

For hygiene reasons, we can’t accept returns on:

  • Men’s and Women’s Western Hats (unless defective)
  • Any accessories marked as “final sale”

2. How to Start a Return or Exchange

Follow these steps smoother than a line dance:

  2. Include your order number and whether you want a refund or exchange
  3. Wait for our return authorization email with instructions
  4. Package your items securely (we recommend using the original box)

3. Shipping Costs

You’re responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we made an error (like sending the wrong boots). For exchanges, we’ll cover the cost to ship your new items back to you.

4. Refund Timeline

Once we receive your return:

  • Processing: 3-5 business days (we check items carefully as a rancher checks his stock)
  • Refund issued: Within 2 business days after approval
  • Funds appear: 5-10 business days depending on your bank/payment method

Refunds go back to your original payment method. If you used PayPal, it’ll return to your PayPal account.

5. Exchange Timeline

Exchanges take about 10-15 business days total (depending on your location):

  1. 2-3 days to process the return
  2. 1-2 days to process the new order
  3. Standard shipping time for your new items

6. International Returns

For partners outside the U.S.:

  • You’re responsible for return shipping costs and any customs fees
  • Mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid additional charges
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method (can’t help if the package gets lost)
